Cameron Smith shot 62 on Friday at TPC Southwind to reach 11-under par and secure solo second-place at halftime of the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational.
The Aussie’s low-round score was aided by four epic shots, highlighted by a chip-in eagle from a greenside sand bunker on the par-5 third hole.
Smith was two shots back of Harris English (65) who was 13 under.
