On Wednesday at Murifield Village Golf Club, ahead of the Memorial Tournament, the game’s two greatest players met and embraced with a hug.
Playing in the pro-am with former NFL great, Peyton Manning, the reigning Masters champion, Tiger Woods, spotted tournament host Jack Nicklaus, and gave the fellow GOAT a hug.
Nicklaus told Woods, “I’m really proud of you.”
In a second video (below), Barbara Nicklaus congratulated Woods on his Masters win.
“We were so excited. We were in the Bahamas, and he [Jack] doesn’t come in from fishing for just anybody,” said Ms. Nicklaus. “So consider yourself really special.”
One commenter called it Tiger meets the GOAT, “? & ?.”
While another said the Bear WAS the GOAT, “? = ?.”
