In the opening round of the 2021 World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, Ian Poulter chipped in for birdie from off the green at the par-3 8th hole.
Poulter went on to shoot a 6-under par 64 to sit tied for second, two back of first-round leader Harris English (62).
“The overall game was pretty good,” said Poulter. “It’s a tricky course if you get it offline and I didn’t really do that today. I gave myself opportunities and I managed to take a few.”
