During the second round of the BMW Championship, Patton Kizzire hit a seemingly perfect approach on the par-4 18th at Caves Valley. But then the ball bounced, and rolled into the water.
After taking a drop, Kizzire would eventually card a double bogey 6 to sign for a even-par 72.
The Auburn product, who sits 66th in the FedExCup standings, needed a top-2 finish this week to move on to East Lake via the Top 30.
Realizing his 2021 season is essentially over (unless he shoots back to back rounds of 60), Kizzire lost his mind.
