Watch Wayne Gretzky’s Nonchalant One-Handed Putt

Wayne Gretzky, the G.O.A.T. of hockey (sorry Bobby Orr fans), once famously said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

And so the former NHL superstar – knowing teammate Dustin Johnson had already scored for the team, decided to tap-in a one-handed four footer as if redirecting a pass from Messier, instead of picking it up during Saturday’s third round of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Unfortunately, the duo of Gretzky and Johnson finished 64-69-67 on 15-under par and missed the team cut by two strokes. The Great One, though, did his part, finishing with a net 12-under par for the team. But DJ – after an opening round 66, struggled with a pair of 73s on Friday and Saturday.

Ironically, he made the pro cut on 3-under and sits T47 heading into Sunday’s finale at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
