WGC-Dell Match Play: Standings, Scenarios Entering the Group Stage Finale

After two days of the WGC-Dell Match Play the story continues to be the struggles of its headliners, including world No. 2 Justin Thomas who got walloped once again – this time by Kevin Kisner, which ended JT’s run in Texas after just two days.

Other top-16 seeds who’ve already been eliminated include: world No. 4 Collin Morikawa, Tyrrell Hatton (8), Tony Finau (12), and Viktor Hovland (13).

Additionally, several marquee names were also sent packing after just two matches, including former world No. 1 Jason Day, reigning British Open champion Shane Lowry, Louis Oosthuizen, and Hideki Matsuyama.

With losses in Friday’s Group Stage finale, a bevy of top-10 seeds could also be heading for the airport, including Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele, Patrick Reed, and Webb Simpson.
