The WGC-Mexico Championship – the 16th stop on the 46-tournament PGA Tour season, gets underway on Thursday from the Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City.
Phil Mickelson will attempt a defense of his 2018 title against a field that is comprised of 28 of the top-30 ranked players in the world, headlined by 80-time PGA Tour winner Tiger Woods, who will be making his pro debut in Mexico.
For the opening two rounds, Mickelson will be joined by 2017 winner Dustin Johnson, and 2018 runner-up Justin Thomas, while Woods gets paired with Bridgestone teammate Bryson DeChambeau and Mexico native Abraham Ancer.
