Billy Horschel tapped in for birdie on the 72nd hole to post 65 and claim a one-shot victory at the 2021 BMW PGA Championship.

The 34-year old American finished his four days at the iconic Wentworth Golf Club at 19-under par. Horschel’s final round was bogey-free which included seven birdies, highlighted by the aforementioned final hole gain to close one clear of a foursome tied on 18 under.

With the win, Horschel earned €1,125,951.98, 1,335 Race to Dubai points, and 64 Official World Golf Ranking points. He will move to No.2 in the RTD standings and No. 18 in the world rankings.

  1. Horschel earned a captain’s pick even more than Reed, whose health is questionable. He was also slightest a few years ago when he got hot and won the Tour Championship, because the captain had to make his picks before that finale. How dumb!
