Bryson DeChambeau shot a 3-under par 67 on Sunday to claim his first major championship title at the U.S. Open.

DeChambeau, who entered Sunday’s finale two shots behind overnight leader Matthew Wolff, finished his Sunday round at Winged Foot with just one bogey against 14 pars, two birdies and one round-changing eagle en route to a 6-under par finish.

The victory earned the 27-year old California native $2,250,000 and 100 world-ranking points. He is expected to move to No. 5 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Bryson DeChambeau walked away with a check for over $2 million for his four rounds of golf at Winged Foot. He also secured 100 world-ranking points, and 600 FedExCup points.

The 27-year old Texas resident is expected to move from ninth to 5th in the official World Golf Rankings when they are released later this evening. He will move to No. 1 on both the PGA Tour’s points and money lists for the foreseeable future.
