Dustin Johnson fired a final-round 66 at Club De Golf Chapultepec to capture the 2019 WGC-Mexico Championship. The 34-year old South Carolina native finished at 21-under par, four shots clear of Rory McIlroy, who carded a final-day 67 to reach 16 under par, good for solo second-place.
The victory was Johnson’s first of the season, and 20th of his PGA Tour career. With 20 wins, Johnson joins legends such as Greg Norman and Hale Irwin, and becomes just the 38th player in history with 20 or more PGA Tour victories.
