For most of Sunday at Colonial Country Club, Jason Kokrak played the role of an annoying party crasher. At the end, he became the heel who stole the keg of beer.

Kokrak beat Dallas native Jordan Spieth on his home turf where the only one rooting for the guy with the beer belly was his caddie.

The 36-year old journeyman beat the 27-year old superstar, and crowd favorite, with a mediocre final round 70. Spieth, though, was worse – finishing with a 73 to lose by two shots.

Kokrak finished with five birdies against five bogeys to settle his four rounds the way he ended three: on 14 under.

For his second career PGA Tour victory, Kokrak earned $1,350,000 and 500 FedExCup points. He will move to No. 4 on the money list and fifth in FedExCup points. He also picked up 58 Official World Golf Ranking points and will move to No. 23, his career best world ranking.

For his second-place finish, Spieth earned $817,500 and 300 FedExCup points. He also secured 34.8 world-ranking points and will move up from 29 to No. 22.
