On Sunday at the Wyndham Championship, Kevin Kisner shot a final-round 66 to join a six-player playoff, which incredibly did not include wire-to-wire leader Russell Henley who bogeyed the final hole to fall out of first place for the first time all week.
The playoff did include Kisner, Adam Scott (65), Branden Grace (66), Kevin Na (66), Si Woo Ki (64) and Roger Sloan (66).
On the first extra hole (the par-4 18th), Scott had a chance to clinch his second victory of the 2021 season with a four-foot birdie but missed to the left. All six players would eventually make par.
On the second trip down 18, Kisner hit a perfect approach to four-feet and drained the birdie putt to claim victory.
With the victory, Kisner earned $1,152,000, 500 FedExCup points, and 46 Official World Golf Ranking points.
He will move to No. 29 in the FedExCup standings and 35th on the money list.
