Over five grueling days of match play, Sam Burns rolled through the elite field at Austin Country Club, highlighted by wins over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Young in the semis and finals, respectively, to claim victory at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.

For his fifth career PGA Tour title – all coming since May 2021, the 26-year-old Louisiana native walked away with $3,500,000 and 52 world-ranking points. He will move to No. 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
