Over five grueling days of match play, Scheffler rolled through the elite field at Austin Country Club, capped off by a wins over Dustin Johnson (3 & 1) and Kevin Kisner (4 & 3) in the semis and finals, respectively, to claim victory at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
For his third career PGA Tour title – all coming in his last five starts, the 25-year-old Texan walked away with $2,160,000, 550 FedExCup points and 74 world-ranking points. He will move to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
