On Sunday at Narashino Country Club, Hideki Matsuyama produced a final-round 65 to claim a five-shot victory at the 2021 ZOZO Championship.

Matsuyama’s final day at the famous Japanese track included two bogeys against three birdies and two eagles en route to a four-day total of 15-under par, five clear of runners-up Brendan Steele (66) and Cameron Tringale (69).

The win was the 29-year old Japanese star’s seventh career PGA Tour title, and second of the 2021 calendar year. He is projected to move to No. 12 in the world rankings when they are released later today.

Matsuyama accomplished this golf history playing a bag of (mainly) Srixon/Cleveland gear, including a Srixon ZX7 driver and Srixon Z-Star XV golf ball.
