On Sunday at Liberty National Golf Club, Patrick Reed fired a 2-under 69 to claim a one-stroke victory over Abraham Ancer at The Northern Trust – the opening leg of the FedExCup Playoffs.
It was the second career victory at The Northern Trust for the 29-year old San Antonio native, who joined seven other players – including the likes of Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson and Jack Nicklaus – with two or more trophies at the New York-based tournament.
To earn his seventh career PGA Tour title, Reed relied on quite the eclectic bag of gear, including brands such as PING, TaylorMade, Callaway, and Titleist – not to mention sister brands Vokey (Titleist) and Odyssey (Callaway), all while wearing the Nike swoosh.
