On Sunday at Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course, Phil Mickelson produced a final-round 73 to claim a stunning two-shot victory at the 2021 PGA Championship.
Mickelson’s final day at the famed South Carolina golf course included five birdies against six bogeys en route to a four-day total of 6-under par, two clear of runners-up Brooks Koepka (74) and Louis Oosthuizen (73).
It was the 50-year old’s 45 career PGA Tour victory and sixth major title.
The 50-year old star secured his first win since the 2019 Pebble Beach Pro-Am by playing a full bag of Callaway golf gear, including an Epic Speed driver down to a Chrome Soft golf ball.
