On Sunday at the Valhalla Golf Club, Xander Schauffele produced a final-round 65 to claim a one-shot victory at the 2024 PGA Championship.
Schauffele’s final day in Louisville, Kentucky included one bogey against seven birdies en route to a record-low score of 21-under par, one better than Bryson DeChambeau (64).
It was the 30-year-old Californian’s eighth career PGA Tour title, and first major victory.
The San Diego State product secured his legacy-defining victory playing a bag of (mostly) Callaway gear, including a Paradym Ai Smoke driver and 3-wood, Apex hybrid and irons, and a Chrome Tour golf ball.
