The 200-Yard Putt: Watch What Happens When Golfers Tee Off With a Putter

Apparently Castle Stuart wasn’t playing tough enough during the Scottish Open so they decided to have golfers try and hit a green 200-yards away with a putter.

The putting challenge was simple: closest to the pin on the 200-yard 17th hole at Castle Stuart.

As you can see, many techniques were used: keeping the ball low on the tee, teeing it high, not using a tee, swinging from your knees (we’re looking at you Patrick Reed), and of course everyone’s favorite, the Happy Gilmore swing.

Not only are these guys REALLY good and can hit the ball 200 yards with their putter, but none of them hit the ball with the shaft and broke Billy Baroo. Incredible.

Congratulations to Russell Knox who amazingly stuck the ball within 9-feet of the cup.
