This week’s RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Ontario is headlined by five players ranked in the world top 20, including two top 5s in Dustin Johnson (1) and Brooks Koepka (4).

Tommy Fleetwood (11), Bubba Watson (13), and Sergio Garcia (20) round out the top 20ers.

Five more players are ranked inside the top 35 including last week’s British Open runner-up Kevin Kisner (25) and Matt Kuchar (26), who finished in the same spot in the 2017 edition, along with Tony Finau (28), Ian Poulter (32), and Charley Hoffman (34).

Other top dogs in the field at Glen Abbey include 2013 Canadian Open winner Brandt Snedeker, and young Chilean star Joaquin Niemann.

The defending champ is Jhonattan Vegas, who won in a playoff over Hoffman.

Other former champions in the field include two-time winner Jim Furyk (2006, 2007), Chez Reavie (2008), Sean O’Hair (2011), and Snedeker (2013). Reavie and Snedeker won at Glen Abbey. O’Hair, and Furyk won at other venues.

Johnson, at world No.1, is the heavy favorite this week with odds of 6/1. Koepka, the reigning two-time U.S. Open champion, is next at 10/1.

Finau, the only player with a top 10 in all three majors, is next at 16/1, as is Fleetwood, who posted a T12 at Carnoustie.

A three-time winner in 2018, Watson is next at 20/1, while Hoffman, Kuchar, and Garcia are all available at 25/1.

At 28/1, the young gun Niemann was the only other player with odds better than 30/1. The two-time reigning champ, Vegas, is 66/1.
