Patrick Cantlay posted a final-round 71 on Sunday at Muirfield Village Golf Club, and then beat Collin Morikawa in a playoff to claim his fourth career PGA Tour win and second of the 2020-21 season.
The 29-year old California native signed for a final-day card comprised of 11 pars, four birdies and three bogeys en route to a 13-under par total.
The win earned Cantlay $1,674,000 and 550 FedExCup points, which moves him to No. 1 in the FedExCup standings, and No. 3 on the money list.
Cantlay also scored 68 Official World Golf Rankings points which will bump him back inside the top-10, from 15th to No. 7.
Runner-up Morikawa took home a check for $1,013,700 along with 315 FedExCup points, and 40.8 OWGR points.
