Stewart Cink posted a final-round 70 on Sunday at Harbour Town Golf Links to claim his second win of the PGA Tour season at the RBC Heritage.
The 47-year old Cink signed for a final-day card comprised of 15 pars, two birdies and one bogey en route to a 19-under par total, four clear of Harold Varner (66), and Emiliano Grillo (68).
The win earned Cink $1,278,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which moves him to No. 3 on the PGA Tour’s points list, and No. 11 in money.
Cink also scored 60 Official World Golf Rankings points which will move him to No. 44, from 115. It marks Cink’s best world-ranking position since the 2010 season.
Runners-up Varner and Grillo each took home a check for $631,900 along with 245 FedExCup points, and 30 OWGR points.
