Jordan Spieth produced a final-round 66 and then edged Patrick Cantlay in a playoff to claim victory at the 2022 RBC Heritage.
The 28-year-old Texan finished his final day at the iconic Harbour Town Golf Links with two bogeys, two eagles, and three birdies, including a final-hole gain to join Cantlay at 13-under par.
Spieth earned $1,440,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which will move him to the 10th spot on both the tour’s money list and points standings.
He also picked up 58 Official World Golf Rankings points and will jump 10 spots and back in to the top 10.
Runner-up Cantlay took home a check for $872,000 along with 300 FedEx Cup points, and 34.8 OWGR points. HE will move from No. 6 to 4th in the world rankings.
