Cameron Smith produced four birdies on his final six holes to secure a one-shot victory at the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions.
The 28-year-old Aussie posted a final-round 8-under 65 en route to a record 34-under total, one shot clear of Jon Rahm (66).
For his fourth career PGA Tour win, Smith earned $1,476,000 and 500 FedEx Cup points, which moves him to No. 3 on the tour’s money list and points standings.
Smith also picked up 62 Official World Golf Rankings points and will jump up to No. 10 (from 21st), a career best.
Runner-up Rahm took home a check for $810,500 along with 300 FedEx Cup points.
