Matt Fitzpatrick carded a final-round 68 to claim his maiden major victory at the 2022 U.S. Open.

The Englishman finished his final day at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. with three bogeys against five birdies to finish on 6 under.

Fitzpatrick earned $3,150,000 and 600 FedExCup points. He moved up to No. 6 on the money list and 10th in FedEx points. He also picked up 100 world-ranking points to jump to No. 10 – a career best position.
