The LIV Golf Format
The LIV Golf League 2023 features 12 teams comprised of four players competing over a 14-event schedule, with players and teams competing simultaneously for both points and prize money.
Tournaments consist of 54-hole stroke play, no cuts and shotgun starts, ensuring a faster and more exciting pace of play.
Captains: Each team has a captain while members of the four-player teams, including the captain, participate in the three-day tournament.
Individual Winner: The player with the lowest 54-hole stroke play total is the winner. At the season’s end, the player with the most ranking points will be named the season’s Individual Champion.
Team Competition: After each round, the best three scores count to produce a team score. The lowest overall team score after 54 holes is the team winner. The final event of the season is the team championship.

LIV Golf Tulsa Course
- Famed golf course architect Joe Finger was commissioned by local businessmen in the late 1960s to design Cedar Ridge.
- Tripp Davis oversaw the 2016 course renovation that involved a program of tree removal and the rebuilding of bunkers that reduced the number of sand hazards by almost a third.
- The course hosted the 1983 U.S. Women’s Open won by legendary Australian golfer Jan Stephenson.
- Cedar Ridge also has hosted state championships and national qualifying tournaments.
- Cedar Ridge is ranked as the fifth best course in Oklahoma by Golf Digest’s latest state rankings.
- The nines will be reversed for LIV Golf Tulsa, with the course playing at par 70 instead of par 71 for members.
- The 369-yard 12th hole (the No. 3 hole for members) is the shortest par 4 on the course but is a severe dogleg left that will likely prevent players from attempting to drive the green.
