Lucas Herbert claimed his first LIV Golf individual title with a wire-to-wire victory at LIV Golf Virginia 2026, held at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.

The 30-year-old Australian from Ripper GC dominated the event, opening with rounds of 64-63 to build a commanding lead. He followed with a 68 in the third round and closed with a 3-under 69 on Sunday, finishing at 24-under 264 for a four-shot win over Sergio García.

Herbert led for more than 60 holes (including the final 58) despite battling illness all week, a final-round double bogey, momentum swings, and a late charge from García that briefly cut the lead to one shot. A key birdie and composure after a weather delay helped him pull away.

The win propelled Herbert to No. 3 on the LIV points list and insidfe the world top 100. He also earned a spot in the upcoming U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills.

Herbert, who now has career wins on every major tour he’s played (PGA Tour, DP World Tour, Asian Tour, LIV Golf League, PGA Tour Australia), showed grit under pressure.

“I can perform pretty damn well when things aren’t perfect,” he noted afterward.

Herbert’s Ripper GC joined in the celebration, spraying Herbert with champagne on the 18th green.

4Aces GC, highlighted by Anthony Kim’s heroics on 18 (twice), took the team title in a playoff over Fireballs GC.
