It’s hard to believe but “Happy Gilmore” turns 25 today. The movie starred Adam Sandler as Happy Gilmore, a former hockey player who takes his talents to the pro golf tour in an attempt to save his grandmother’s houme from foreclosure.
Sandler celebrated the silver anniversary of the cult movie by attempting a Happy-patented tee shot.
“It’s been 25 years since I’ve done this. Let’s see what happens,” Sandler said into the camera, before walking over to the tee.
And right before he teed off, Sandler said, “Shooter McGavin this is for you.”
