Adam Scott Drains Two 45 Foot Putts During Round 3 Of The Barclays

Adam Scott fired a 6-under par 65 during the third round of The Barclays at Bethpage Black.

Scott, currently ranked at No. 7 in the world, was helped greatly by his putter today, highlighted by two long bomb 45 foot birdie putts on the 12th and 15th hole.

Said Scott, during a quick interview with PGATour.com, “I’ve played well all week. I just haven’t holed any putts. Then I holed two long ones on the back nine and it feels good.”

For the tournament Scott is at 7-under and currently in 3rd place alone, after starting the day in the 26th spot.

Interesting statistic from Brian Wacker…

And another from Jason Sobel…
