Bernd Wiesberger carded a 3-under par 68 on Saturday at the Made in HimmerLand and will enter Sunday’s finale with a one-shot lead.

The Austrian signed for a scorecard comprised of six birdies and three bogeys to reach 14 under for the week in Farso, Denmark.

“I feel good,” said Wiesberger. “It wasn’t as easy today scoring wise, obviously conditions were a lot easier but I had to scramble a little bit.

“Got a couple of good breaks, gutsy up-and-downs as well, you know I am not happy about the last hole obviously, but I’m still in a good position for tomorrow and I know exactly what it is going to feel like on that tee going in with a one shot lead, so that is going to be nice.”

One back was Swede Alexander Bjork, who posted 66 to sit solo second on 13 under.

“I think I played really well the entire round,” said Bjork. “I gave myself a lot of chances to hole birdie putts and I made quite a few of those, so overall a solid round.

“My iron play has been quite solid all week. I feel like I have been hitting a lot of good iron shots back to where I was a couple of years ago, so it’s nice to have a good feeling again.

“I think just the same as these first three days. Try to stay patient, play the game I have been playing, hit a lot of fairways and be accurate with my irons.”

England’s Laurie Canter was third on 11 under after surging up the board with a 7-under 64.

Another Englishman, Richard Bland (66), who became the European Tour’s oldest first-time winner (48) two weeks ago at the Belfry, was among a group of six more at T4 on 10 under.

Bland was joined by Japan’s Masahiro Kawamura (68) – who had reached 12 under after a hole-out eagle from a bunker on 17th, only to find water at the last, Austria’s Matthias Schwab (70), American Kurt Kitayama (64), Kiwi Josh Geary (68) and Aussie Jason Scrivener (66).
