In the third round of the European Tour’s Made in HimmerLand event in Denmark, it was a Swede who recorded the highlight of the day.
Alexander Bjork landed his tee shot on the par-3 16th just off the green, and above the hole, leaving himself with a delicate downhill putt requiring a crazy read.
The 30 year old got both the touch and read just right and almost seemed embarrassed when it dropped for a birdie 2.
The commentator provided the objective: “Absolutely sideways. Just trickle it onto the surface.”
He continued, “That’s magnificent! Magnificent, young man. All he could do was pick a spot on the fringe and let it tumble down the hill.”
