Brooke Henderson and Nelly Korda entered the final round the 2019 LOTTE Championship with a share of the lead, but their rounds pointed in two different directions by day’s end.
Canada’s Henderson shot 70 to claim her eighth career LPGA title on 16-under par. Meanwhile, third-round co-leader Korda signed for a quadruple-bogey on No. 18 to finish 4-over 77, tumbling to solo-eighth-place on 9 under.
“It was kind of a rough start; bogeyed the first hole. Just kind of tried to stay patient with Brit out there just because we knew it was going to be a tough day for everybody,” said Henderson, 23, who won for the first time in 2019.
“When we bogeyed the first hole it wasn’t a huge deal.”
Korea’s Eun-Hee Ji shot 1-over 73 to land runner-up on 12 under, one clear of Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn (73) and Australia’s Minjee Lee (74), who fell to 11 under, good for T3.

“It’s really amazing to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Mike Weir, George Knudson and Sandra Post. This week was really special. I always love coming to Hawaii.”
