Brooke Henderson won her 10th career LPGA victory at the L.A. Open. The 23-year old Canadian carded a final-round 4-under 67 to finish 16 under par, one ahead of Jessica Korda.
As a salute to their countrywoman, Canadian PGA Tour players Mackenzie Hughes and Corey Conners sent along a congratulatory tweets.
Hughes wrote: “Congrats @BrookeHenderson! Making it look easy. I want to be like you when I grow up! #10”
Conners posted: “Congrats @BrookeHenderson making Canada proud!! #10”
The PGA Tour curated the two tweets in an Instagram post, writing, “Respect for the winningest Canadian in golf.”
