Brooke Henderson shot a final-round 4-under 67 to claim a one-shot victory at the HUGEL AIR-PREMIA L.A. Open.

Henderson finished her final day at historic Wilshire Country Club with two bogeys against six birdies, highlighted by three in a four-hole stretch (Nos. 11, 12, and 14), en route to a four-day total of 16-under par.

The Canadian superstar finished one clear of American Jessica Korda, who had led after each of the first three rounds but went ice cold on day four, posting just two birdies against three bogeys to finish 1-over 72 and 15 under.

The win was No. 10 for the 23-year old Henderson, who won her first LPGA trophy as a 17-year old at the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic.

“Unreal. It’s pretty crazy,” said Henderson of her 10th victory. “To get my ninth win was such a big deal in Canada, and then since then I have been just trying to chase that tenth one. To get it here, it’s just — I’m just so happy and it’s hard to believe.”

“I feel like I have been playing really solid golf and just haven’t had the victory in what feels like a really long time now. Just to get it across the line and to have the work that Brit [her sister and caddie] and I have been putting in pay off and be able to celebrate together and get the tenth win on the LPGA Tour is really incredible.”

Hannah Green (66) and Jin Young Ko (72) were one further back on 14 under, two clear of So Yeon Ryu (68) and Angela Stanford (70), who tied for fifth-place on 12 under.
