As Jack Nicklaus was recording one of those ‘Jack Congratulates Brooks Koepka for winning the MVP’ type videos, the recipient himself decided to make an appearance.
As some commenters noted, the interaction made the video “more genuine than that wooden staged stuff with DJ.”
Earlier, Jack had sort of snuck up on Brooks before handing him the aptly-named Jack Nicklaus award.
Fun fact: Koepka (2018) and Nicklaus (1980) are two of only five players to have won the US Open and PGA Championship in the same season. Tiger Woods (2000), Ben Hogan (1948) and Gene Sarazen (1922) are the others. Pretty neat stuff.
