World No. 4 Collin Morikawa has parted ways with caddie J.J. Jakovac after six years, a surprising move first reported by SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio.

Jakovac, who guided Morikawa to six PGA Tour wins, including a pair of major titles — the 2020 PGA Championship and 2021 Open Championship, confirmed the split via text to Golfweek.

Morikawa has hired veteran caddie Joe Greiner, previously with Max Homa and recently a temporary looper for Justin Thomas during his RBC Heritage victory. The duo will debut at the Truist Championship in Philadelphia, May 8-11, as Morikawa aims to end a winless streak since the 2023 Zozo Championship.
