Gary Player Scorches Daniel Berger Over GOAT Tweet

Daniel Berger sent out what seemed like an innocent tweet, talking up the return of Tiger Woods at today’s Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

“Anyone else pumped to see the greatest of all time tee it up today? I know I am,” Berger posted.

But 9-time major champion Gary Player, who is historically connected to Nicklaus more than any other player alive, took issue with Berger referring to Tiger as the GOAT.

So the Black Knight replied with some snarky burn: “Really? I did not know @jacknicklaus was playing this week,” signed GP.

Sports Illustrated screen-grabbed the Twitter exchange and naturally posted it on Instagram.

Because. Why not!?

We see you, @gary.player! ???

Exit analysis: Gary Player is turning into one of the all time best trollers on Twitter.
