DJ Now Ranked at #3 Behind Day and Spieth

Rory McIlroy’s poor performance at US Open dropped him to 7th on the PGA TOUR Money list.

Dustin Johnson is now third behind Jordan Spieth and Jason Day, who are at numbers 1 and 2, respectively.

This graph shows the money leaders for the 2015-2016 season.

One thing to remember, though, Rory plays more international events that do not count on the PGA Tour Money list.

But the OWGR does take into account non-PGA Tour events, such as the Euro Tour, and DJ is also No. 3 here too — one spot ahead of Rory.

All things considered DJ has played better of late.

And winning his first major could free him up mentally when competing in future majors. He is an easy favorite going into the Open Championship at Royal Troon.

So is there a new Big 3, or is it a new Big 4?
