Aaron Wise posted a final-round 65 to win the AT&T Byron Nelson by three shots over 54-hole leader Marc Leishman.
The 21-year old Wise finished his final day at Trinity Forest Golf Club with a clean card comprised of six birdies, which all came in a seven-hole stretch (Nos. 4-10).
The win earned the former University of Oregon star $1,386,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which moves him to No. 18 in the standings. He also picked up 34 important Official World Golf Rankings points and will jump from No. 99 to 66 – just six spots shy of qualifying for the U.S. Open.
Runner-up Leishman took home a check for $831,600, along with 300 FedEx points and 20.4 OWGR points.
