Justin Thomas birdied the 18th hole in regulation to post a 2-under 68 on Sunday at PGA National. He then birdied it again to beat Luke List in a playoff to capture the 2018 Honda Classic.
Thomas finished his final day in Palm Beach Gardens with three birdies against one bogey en route to a four-round total of 8-under par 272.
The win was the second of the season for Thomas, and eighth of his young career. The Kentucky native earned $1,188,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which moves him to No. 1 in the FedExCup standings.
Thomas also scored 54 Official World Golf Rankings points and will move to No. 3 on Monday, knocking Jordan Spieth to No. 4.
The runner-up List took home a check for $712,800, 300 FedExCup points, and 34 OWGR points.
