Xander Schauffele carded a Sunday round of 68 and then took down 54-hole leader Tony Finau in overtime to claim his third career PGA Tour title at the WGC-HSBC Champions.
Schauffele, who entered the final day down three shots to Finau, finished his final day in Shanghai – including overtime, with two bogeys offset by seven birdies, highlighted by three-straight gains on Nos. 17 and 18 (and 18 again) en route to a 14-under par total and playoff victory.
