Frederik Kjettrup, a former Florida State University (FSU) alum, has signed with LIV Golf to join Martin Kaymer‘s Cleeks GC team for the 2025 season.
By virtue of finishing ranked in the top ten of the 2024 PGA Tour University, Kjettrup earned conditional status on the Korn Ferry Tour and full exemption on the PGA Tour Americas.
Kjettrup made an immediate impact in the PGA Tour’s developmental league by winning three times in just eight starts on the PGA Tour Americas, including the Beachlands Victoria Open, ATB Classic, and CRMC Championship. His three-win performance earned the Dane full status on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour while being recognized as one of the brightest young golf talents in the world.
At FSU, Kjettrup was a standout talent, joining Brooks Koepka as one of only four three-time All-Americans in the program’s history. He ended his college career with the second-best scoring average in FSU history at 71.29 and was a co-medalist at the 2024 ACC Championships. His signing with LIV Golf is part of a youth movement within the league, which aims to attract up-and-coming talent to its roster.
