Eddie Pepperell and Dylan Naidoo are set for a thrilling finale at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, sharing the lead on 11-under-par as they head into the final round.

Naidoo posted an impressive third-round score of 66, highlighted by six birdies in his opening seven holes, while Pepperell maintained his position with a solid 69.

“The way I’m managing my game, the way the conditions are, if you offered me that ball-striking tomorrow I would take it,” said Pepperell.

“Weighted towards better driving, because I think I can get round here in three, four, five under par managing myself and my game well and that could be enough in windy conditions.

“But I would like to see my irons a bit more where I want them. Three under is a good round.”

Naidoo added, “I tend to like drivers’ golf courses where good driving can set you up nicely. And my iron play has been really good lately and I found the putter today. So it was a good day.”

The lead duo are one stroke clear of Denmark’s Jacob Skov Olesen, who shot 69 in the third round.

South Africa’s Jovan Rebula is also in contention, sitting at nine under par after a 67.

Both Pepperell and Naidoo have distinct motivations; Pepperell is looking to secure his first DP World Tour title since 2018 and regain full playing privileges after narrowly missing out at the qualifying school, while Naidoo aims for his maiden DP World Tour victory.
