This Guy Definitely Owns the Weirdest Golf Swing to Have Ever Shot an 80

Meet 58-year-old Jack Van Meerbeeck, a guy who shot an 80 with the weirdest swing in the history of golf.

According to an article on GolfDigest.com, Jack shot 80 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Why does that course sound familar? Because it was the site of this year’s Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour.

Sedgefield Country Club is a Donald Ross design, was founded in 1926, and in 2008 underwent course lengthening. This is no easy track to shoot an 80 on that’s for sure.

And yet, with two gloves, and a swing hitch that makes Charles Barkley look like Fred Couples, Mr. Van Meerbeeck owned the course that day. Incredible.
