Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas took both matches on Saturday, and, with a 3-1 record, have been the bright stars of an under-performing American team. Both wins on Saturday came against European Ryder Cup legend Ian Poulter, who was paired with Jon Rahm in the morning (four-ball), and Rory McIlroy in the afternoon (foursomes).
After his putt dropped on No. 15th, to clinch the match, 4 & 3, Spieth celebrated by pounding his chest ala Poulter.
