Justin Thomas’ Chip-In Birdie Highlights Round of 67

Despite tougher conditions on Friday, Justin Thomas opened with a 2-under 34 on the front-nine, highlighted by a chip-in birdie on the par-3 sixth hole.

Going home, the reigning PGA Champion reeled off three straight gains on hole Nos. 13, 14 and 15, along with a nifty par save on No. 18, to sign for a 5-under 67.

Through 36 holes, Thomas is 3-under par 141, good for T6, alongside Dustin Johnson.
