Keegan Bradley shot a 3-under 67 today at TPC River Highlands, placing him at T9 heading into round two.
Bradley, who is a local guy (and big Boston sports fan), was cheered on by a throng of supporters from Barstool Sports. The Bradley cheering section wore t-shirts that said Keegan vs Everybody. While on Twitter they created the hashtag #KeegansCrew.

Bradley is known at Barstool as the ‘People’s Golfer 2.0’. Which essentially means the PGA Tour golfer who is from the Boston area and friends with Dave Portnoy, the founder and primary voice of Barstool. The original people’s golfer was Jim Renner (from Plainville, MA) who’s playing the Web.com Tour this season, after a tough 2015 year.
After his round Bradley was asked about it by the press.
PRESS: Were those your boys in the T-shirts that said Keegan vs Everybody?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, those are the barstool sports boys. They came out. It was so fun. Travelers, they treat me so well here. They come out and support me. It’s great.
PRESS: Yeah. Obviously anywhere in New England Keegan Bradley is a favorite.
KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, it’s fun. I had such a blast today.
