Good news for golf fans: the Masters and CBS will add five extra hours of TV coverage in 2025. The bad news: four of the five hours will be streamed only on Paramount+ and will require a paid subscription.

To offset some of the anticipated complaints, CBS will add an extra hour to Saturday’s network broadcast, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.

CBS also produces the tournament’s award-winning web content and (free to download) app which includes replays of every player’s golf shot, along with live video feeds from Amen Corner, Holes 4-6, Holes 15-16 and marquee pairings.

The addition of Paramount+ will bring the total TV coverage of the 2025 Masters to 23 hours, which includes the opening-round broadcasts via ESPN, 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Augusta National also announced that Bank of America will become an official tournament sponsor, bringing the number of the tournament’s premium partners to four.

Bank of America will join longtime sponsors AT&T, IBM and Mercedes-Benz as exclusive corporate partners of the Masters.

According to the Masters, the addition of Bank of America will not change the hourly commercial load. The broadcast will continue to air only four minutes of commercial ads each hour.

“The Masters Tournament has had the great fortune of enjoying an extraordinary relationship with CBS Sports for nearly 70 years,” said Fred Ridley, chairman of Augusta National and the Masters.

“Alongside our friends at the network, we are pleased to extend the tournament’s weekend coverage and ultimately deliver more live golf for Masters fans.”

The Masters will be contested April 10-13, 2025. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will defend his 2024 title.
