With Jon Rahm and his six-shot lead having been memory holed by the PGA Tour, two players will now enter the final round of the Memorial with an unexpected three-shot lead: Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay.

Going from six down to three up due to a WD is bizarre but that’s where we are.

Cantlay (68), who ironically played with Rahm in Saturday’s final grouping, carded five birdies and one bogey to join Morikawa (66) atop the reshuffled leaderboard at 12 under.

Branden Grace (67) and Scottie Scheffler (69) were T3 on 9 under, two clear of Max Homa (72) who was solo fifth on 6 under.
