So much for that letdown. Dustin Johnson followed up his first major championship with a win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. DJ fired his second consecutive 4-under 66 to overcome a slow start and World No. 1 Jason Day.

Day appeared to be on cruise control, at 7-under par through 14 holes. But a bogey on the par 3 15th sent Day into a tail spin, which was highlighted by a double bogey on the par 5 16th.
Jason Day makes a 7 at No. 16.

The 28 year-old Ausssie went 4-over for the final four holes, and finished in a tie for 3rd place at 3-under.
Johnson celebrated his win with son Tatum and mom Paulina, via FaceTime, which was the big buzz online.
